Programming challenges include high levels of poverty and HIV prevalence and Family planning in the Catchment area as well as the whole country. Furthermore, the issue of coverage (e.g. limited coverage for children) gaps between national policies and practice including individual families. The felt inequitable utilization of and access to resource areas is also a major problem. At organizational level, lack of funding is the single biggest challenge as it accounts for all other challenges such as lack of food, equipment, lack of proper clothing as well as limitation in programme and activity implementation. Withstanding all these challenges, Springs of Life members of staff and volunteers have been working hard to respond to the needy in the community.
